Privacy Policy

Short version: Club measurements and build sheets stay on your device. SwingPlan has no account, advertising, or developer-operated backend. RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase history to validate Workshop access and report purchase performance. Firebase Analytics measures app use without IDFA or cross-app tracking.

1. Scope

This policy explains how SwingPlan (“the App”), developed by Khoa Nguyen (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information on iPhone and iPad.

2. Local app data

The App stores club measurements, targets, modeled results, physical calibration readings, and app preferences locally in Apple-provided app storage on your device. We do not send this club-building data to RevenueCat or Firebase.

You can delete individual build sheets or all local build sheets inside the App. Deleting the App may also remove its local data, subject to your device backup settings.

3. Purchases and RevenueCat

The optional Workshop purchase is processed by Apple. RevenueCat helps validate entitlement status, restore access, prevent purchase fraud, and provide purchase analytics. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, product identifier, purchase and restore dates, entitlement status, device and operating-system information, locale, currency, and Apple receipt information. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

We do not provide RevenueCat with your name, email address, club names, measurements, notes, advertising identifier, or a developer account identifier. RevenueCat’s anonymous identifier is not used by SwingPlan for cross-app advertising or tracking.

4. Firebase Analytics

SwingPlan uses Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate app use and improve the product. Firebase Analytics automatically processes an app-instance identifier, app lifecycle and interaction events, device and app information, approximate location derived from network information, and App Store in-app purchase event data. The app uses the no-IDFA Firebase Analytics Core SDK: it does not include AdSupport, request App Tracking Transparency permission, or collect the advertising identifier.

Firebase Analytics is not used to identify you by name, to collect club names, measurements, notes, or free text, or to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. We do not set a Firebase user ID or send custom event parameters containing club-building data.

5. Network access and links

The free planning features work without a developer-operated backend. Network access is used for Apple and RevenueCat purchase and restore services and when you choose to open policy or support links.

6. Children

The App is a golf club planning utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.

7. Security and retention

Local records remain on your device until you delete them or remove the App. Because we do not maintain a server-side copy of club records, we cannot retrieve or delete them remotely. RevenueCat retains purchase records according to its service and legal obligations. Firebase Analytics retains and processes analytics data according to the project's configured Google Analytics data-retention settings.

8. Changes

We may update this policy when the App’s features or data practices change. The date above identifies the current version.

Open a privacy support request. Please do not include passwords, Apple ID credentials, payment details, or other sensitive information in a public issue.
