Terms of Use

Effective and last updated: September 12, 2026

RigPath: RV Safe Routes is a planning aid. Route suggestions and clearance figures come from third-party routing and community map data that can be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Posted signs, road conditions and the law always take precedence. You are responsible for your vehicle and your driving.

1. Using RigPath: RV Safe Routes

You may use the App for lawful personal trip planning and guidance. Before relying on a route, verify it against posted clearance, weight, length and hazardous-materials signs and current road conditions. Never enter a structure the sign says your rig does not fit; never follow guidance where it conflicts with signs, traffic control or safe driving.

2. Accuracy and “unverified” segments

Routes are calculated by TomTom using the rig dimensions you enter. Structure checks use OpenStreetMap-derived data. The App marks route segments where it has no restriction data as unverified and tells you when the structure database could not be loaded. A route being shown as rig-safe means no mapped restriction below your dimensions was found — not that none exists.

3. Your rig profile

The App routes for the dimensions and margin you enter. Enter your loaded height including roof equipment, your full length including anything towed, and your loaded weight. Incorrect entries produce unsafe routes.

4. Driving and CarPlay

Use CarPlay or a mounted device and set up the trip before you move. Do not interact with the App while driving except where it is lawful and safe to do so.

5. Purchases

RigPath Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription processed by Apple through your App Store account and subject to Apple’s media-services terms. Price, billing period, renewal and cancellation are shown by Apple before purchase; you can manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings, and restore eligible purchases in the App. Route planning stays free. RevenueCat helps validate and restore access; it does not process your payment card.

6. Local data

Trips and rig profiles are stored on your device. Deleting the App removes them; there is no cloud backup in this version.

7. Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the App or its data services, reverse engineer it except where law permits, or use it in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

8. Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is”, without warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for damage to vehicles, property or persons, fines, delays or losses arising from reliance on routes, clearances or guidance shown in the App.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal or service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.
